Training that fits your week
Training guidance for people with a normal week: what to do first as a beginner, how to progress strength work, and how to keep technique honest.
Two or three sessions a week, repeated for months, beats a perfect six-day plan you abandon in week three. Start with the number of sessions you can protect in your calendar.
Progress comes from doing slightly more over time — an extra rep, a little more weight, better control. Writing sets down is what makes that visible.

Frequently asked questions
- How often should I train to see progress?
- Two to three strength sessions a week is enough for clear progress when you keep it up over months and gradually add weight or reps.
- Do I need a gym?
- No. Bodyweight work and a pair of adjustable dumbbells cover the basics. A gym mainly adds heavier loading options later on.
