Chest
Cable crossover: how to do it with good form
The cable crossover gives even resistance through the whole movement and lets you really squeeze the chest.
How to do it
- 1
Set the pulleys high and take a handle in each hand.
- 2
Step forward with a slight forward lean and soft elbows.
- 3
Bring the handles down and together in front of you in an arc.
- 4
Squeeze your chest and return with control.
Common mistakes
- Bending and straightening the elbows.
- Letting the cables pull the arms too far back.
- So much weight the body rocks.
